I wish to search the public Court Records in Ohio. I have done this in WI. How can I do this in Ohio?
You may not be able to search records on line. You will more than likely have to go to the courthourse and search the files.

If they are available you will need to go through the particular county web site. do a search on "county public records search". This should get you started.

Only available where the court has made the records available electronically. This isn’t universal, a lot of places haven’t done this because the place is too small, or the records are too many and/or they aren’t interested in doing it becasue not enough people have asked for it to be done.
If you do an internet search you should be able to find a contact for the court you are interested in and then you can ask them directly.

Most counties make this info available via the internet, however even though they are "public" they are not free. The costs vary depending on the records you are looking for.
